Workspace Efficiency and Innovation

Microsoft’s Shanghai office is a purpose-built, five-storey new build designed to support a modern, flexible workplace for owner-occupiers. Located in one of China’s leading commercial hubs, the building was planned to deliver high levels of user comfort, adaptability and indoor air quality while meeting an accelerated construction programme.

AET Flexible Space delivered an underfloor air conditioning solution across the building, with 50 controllable zones per floor, providing a highly flexible and user-friendly system tailored to dynamic occupancy patterns. The intelligent zoning strategy ensures excellent indoor air quality and individual comfort control, supporting productivity and wellbeing. Efficient system planning and coordination contributed to a reduced construction programme of just five months, enabling the rapid delivery of a high-performance working environment.
