AET Shooting Day 2025

AET
Shoot Day
2025

A CELEBRATION OF INDUSTRY, CONNECTION & EXPERIENCE

Now in its fourth edition, the AET Shooting Day has grown from a small, intimate gathering into one of the most talked-about annual events in the property and construction calendar. What started as a thank-you to our valued partners and clients has evolved into a full-day experience blending British tradition, relaxed networking, and exceptional hospitality — all set against the stunning backdrop of Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds in London.

The AET hospitality

We created this event to break away from the typical summer networking scene. No stiff handshakes or forced conversations — just a genuine, memorable day shared with like-minded people in a setting where everyone can feel at ease.

  • It was a fantastic day – every year you manage to make it a bigger and better day!

Natalie Collcutt, Senior Building Services Design Engineer — Watkins Payne
  • Thank you for your hospitality for what was a great day of shooting in a fantastic setting.

James Lawrie, Head of Development — GMS Estates
  • I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a huge thank you to you and the entire AET team for such a fantastic day. The shooting day was brilliant, the afterparty was a great way to cap it off, and the hospitality throughout was truly top-notch. It was an absolute pleasure to be included, and I really appreciated the invite. The whole experience was first-class, and it’s clear how much effort went into the event.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF INDUSTRY EVENT

The AET Shooting Day isn’t just about shooting. It’s about people.
We bring together nearly 200 guests each year — from architects, engineers, and MEP consultants to developers, property managers, and building owners — all connected through our shared work in the built environment.

Whether you’re holding a shotgun or a glass of champagne, this is a place to connect, laugh, and enjoy the moment. Some guests love the shooting experience. Others come just for the food, music, and laid-back energy. And that’s exactly the point.

NO CORPORATE TALK — JUST GREAT COMPANY

We pride ourselves on hosting an event that feels anything but corporate. It’s informal, inclusive, and crafted with care. Every detail is curated to create a day of genuine enjoyment; from the shuttle service and breakfast welcome to the afternoon awards and music, to the last drink shared with new and old friends.

This is our way of saying thank you — or a hello, and we mean it.

  • I had a wonderful day on what is a superbly organised day in a wonderful location with excellent hospitality. Thank you all.

Geoff Taylor, Project Director — Almacantar

2025 HIGHLIGHT — Chef-led pop-up food spots

This year, we introduced a game-changing concept: themed food stations designed for mingling and indulgence. Each station was hand-picked to reflect the diversity of our guests; an exciting blend of global flavours, top-tier ingredients, and beautifully presented dishes that sparked conversation and connection.

The stations became natural meeting points, where clients, consultants, and friends could pause, chat, and enjoy truly memorable bites in a relaxed setting.

Soundtrack of the day

From beats to brass, the AET Shooting Day brought the vibes. DJ Tony Perry kept energy high right at the shooting traps, setting the pace for the day. As the afternoon unfolded, guests were treated to sensational live music from Vikki Webb-Medhurst and SIMO Sax, blending vocals and sax into unforgettable duos and trios that kept the atmosphere electric well into the evening.

  • Just a brief note to say thank you for putting together such a wonderful day and for kindly inviting me.
You raise the bar each year on this much-anticipated annual event, and I can truly say that the smooth running and client care are second to none in my humble experience.
The attention to detail from the quality of the name badges, the parting gift so the rubbish shots such as myself don’t leave empty-handed handed and the wonderful selection of food at breakfast and lunch available is just fabulous. Well done to you all and your wider support teams.

Alan Munson, Regional Director — QODA
  • Just want to say it was a truly brilliant event.
The seating arrangements this year were much better than the previous year, and gave all of us the opportunity to mingle.
To me, it’s the best event of the year. Greatly appreciated, and a welcome pleasant surprise that our Team came second overall in points.
A great effort by ALL team members.
Wishing you all a successful year ahead.

Ian Burgess, Project Architect — Adamson Associates
  • It was truly an amazing day, a really great event, and you could really tell people relaxed into the day. So well organised and really good environment to openly network with so many people from across the industry. Thank you also for the prize gifts, they were exceptional.
Look forward to hopefully working together soon.

Alex Feddon, Operations Director — Redworx MEP

Precision, poise, and just a little healthy competition

Teams gathered, energy was high, and the friendly competition was on. But this wasn’t just any shooting setup. We had BBC’s DJ Tony Perry spinning live on the field, bringing the ultimate blend of motivation and smooth party vibes. It set the tone: competitive, but never too serious. This day is about connection, laughter, and shared experience.

AET took over the grounds like never before

We were blown away by the talent — some guests were seasoned shooters, others discovered hidden skills on the spot. And this year, we were especially proud to introduce the Women’s Top Gun Cup, celebrating skill and spirit across the board.

The scores were tight. The energy? Unmatched. The cheers? Louder than ever. Congratulations to all our winning teams and top individual shooters. The competition was brilliant. The prizes, well-earned.
But most of all, it was just pure fun — done the AET way.
