The AET Ladies Host a Night of Style, Stories & Sisterhood

At AET, we wanted to carve out a moment just for the women shaping property and construction. Too often, the industry feels like a man’s world — and yet, every day, women are living it, breathing it, and winning in it. The evening was about reminding one another that we’re not alone. It was about energy, conversation, and that unshakable feeling of belonging when women come together.

  • Thank you so much for hosting such a gorgeous event! We loved meeting you all and the many inspiring women from the industry!

  • Thank you for the fabulous and thoughtful event last night. Every single detail did not go unnoticed, from the napkins to the silhouette artists, to the engraved candles! It was refreshing crowd of women.
    Look forward to future ones.

  • SheBuilds: Women Shaping Space was such an energising event. Being in a room full of women driving change in construction — sharing honest stories, challenges and wins — was a reminder of how powerful our voices are when brought together.
The atmosphere was warm, real and inspiring, with every detail thought through. I left feeling connected and motivated about what we can achieve as an industry when we back each other. Huge thanks to AET and the team for making it happen.

  • It was amazing how many new ladies I met. We are now planning to meet up, possibly as golf and shooting lessons! Everything about the evening was perfection, from the singer and portraits to the décor and the cocktails were incredible too! I hope you all know how fantastic you are for arranging this
Looking forward to the next one!

Private-Chic, Sparkling, Unforgettable

The Pavilion Club in Knightsbridge gave us its hidden jewel — a terrace looking out over a serene corner of Hyde Park. Chic, private, and perfect for connection. Guests sipped signature cocktails, raised glasses of chilled bubbles, and lingered over delicate canapés as the evening unfolded. Music floated in with DJ J.C. on the decks and Vikki Webb-Medhurst singing the songs every woman loves to belt out.

The Night in Motion: Stories, Laughter & What’s Next

Beyond the music and the sparkle, the terrace hummed with conversations that mattered. Women swapped stories, shared challenges, and lifted each other up — not just colleagues, but allies, role models, and friends. The laughter was real, the connection tangible, and the spirit unforgettable.

We couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who joined us and made the night what it was. Here’s to the next one. Watch this space for more — and in the meantime, explore the highlights of an evening that proved just how powerful it is when women gather.

  • The evening brought together inspiring women from across the industry, with plenty of great conversations, shared experiences, and new connections. The atmosphere was amazing, from the food and cocktails to the live music and DJ!
I left feeling energised and grateful to be part of such a supportive and forward-looking community in our industry.

  • I had the opportunity to meet inspiring professionals from across the built environment, connect with brilliant women in the industry, and engage with members of the fantastic AET team.
Thank you for inviting us on behalf of CIOB and for the magnificent organisation — everything from the warm welcome to the seamless arrangements was above and beyond. The food was excellent, the music was delightful, champagne and cocktails very yummy, and the venue created the perfect atmosphere for networking and celebration — and on top of that, we were spoiled with gifts!
Feeling inspired and grateful to be part of such a supportive and forward-thinking community.

  • Thank you so much for having us. What a fantastic evening! It was such a joy to connect with so many inspiring women in the industry, take time to relax and have open conversations while sharing experiences and perspectives. The night couldn’t have ended better — great food, music, drinks and plenty of dancing! The thoughtful gift was the cherry on top. Already excited for more events like this and the chance to keep building these connections.

A little something to remember us by

Taz Burns from The Hoving Artist added her magic, cutting silhouettes that guests could take home, while Jo Malone candles, beautifully wrapped, made for the sweetest farewell gift.

Every detail was designed the AET way — with hospitality in the smallest touches, building memories that last.

Don’t miss out on the next SheBuilds — Women Shaping Space.
