Service & maintenance

Support that lasts

AET has a well-established service and maintenance department with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. We are dedicated to maintaining high standards of service, working closely with building owners, occupiers, and facilities management companies of various sizes — building long-standing relationships through our excellent customer service and focused solutions.

Systems are looked after, quarterly, from their original CAT—A installation to their CAT—B reconfiguration throughout their lifecycle. Extended warranties are available from 3-5 years.

We also offer preventative and reactive service and maintenance and fit-out works for existing AET Flexible Space installations.

AET service offering

As part of our service and maintenance process, AET provides recommissioning services to ensure optimal system performance. This includes thorough testing, calibration, and functional checks to confirm that all components are operating as intended.

Our recommissioning process not only restores efficiency but also identifies potential issues before they become costly problems — giving clients peace of mind when it comes to long-term system reliability.

AET carries out detailed equipment surveys of your AET Flexible Space system to assess its condition and performance. Surveys include a thorough inspection of all key components, comprehensive documentation, and identification of any areas for improvement.

The AET equipment survey is a proactive tool that supports informed decision-making and budget planning for maintenance upgrades, energy efficiency improvements, and sustained system performance over time.

AET carries out comprehensive plenum surveys of your AET Flexible Space system, focusing on air segregation and zone barriers to ensure airtightness and correct installation. We identify any leakages that may lead to energy loss, reduced system performance, or non-compliance with fire safety regulations.

Early detection of air leakages helps maintain optimal airflow, energy efficiency, and overall system integrity.

AET provides a comprehensive spares and parts replacement service to support the reliability of your AET Flexible Space system. By supplying and installing new components, we help minimise system downtime, extend equipment lifespan, and enhance overall performance.

Our proactive approach ensures critical parts are readily available, helping clients avoid unexpected breakdowns and maintain efficient system operation.

AET uses EC fans, which offer greater controllability, higher airflow, quieter operation, and lower energy consumption compared to traditional AC fan motors. Upgrading to the latest EC technology helps businesses future-proof their systems, meet sustainability goals, and ensure long-term performance with reduced maintenance requirements.

AET offers control upgrades to enhance system efficiency, improve performance, and provide access to the latest technology — giving clients better operational control.
Upgrading outdated control systems allows for more precise temperature regulation, access to updated software and hardware, smarter energy usage, and simpler monitoring and checks.

These upgrades not only reduce energy costs but also support proactive maintenance, helping extend equipment lifespan and maintain a comfortable working environment.

AET offers coil and valve upgrades to improve energy efficiency, optimise heat exchange, and ensure better accuracy in both cooling and heating modes. Replacing older components restores system performance, reduces energy consumption, and improves reliability — extending equipment lifespan, lowering operational costs, and improving manageability through ongoing maintenance.

AET provides DX (Direct Expansion) upgrades from CHW and LPHW systems to enhance efficiency, simplify operation, and reduce energy use. In the event of chiller or boiler failure, CHW and LPHW systems can lose heating or cooling across the entire building. Converting to a DX system enables localised zone control, so outages are contained and the rest of the building remains unaffected.

DX conversions deliver more responsive cooling, reduced maintenance requirements, improved performance and control, increased reliability, and lower running costs.
